In 2004 to meet the need for delegates to have certification after attending a training course FIT introduced the concept of validated training and certificated attendance.

Validated Training Certificate

FIT always looks for ways in which it can add value to the training process. The object of offering Validated Training Certificates is to evidence that a delegate has not only attended a training module or course but has also successfully passed a test on the course materials

To obtain a certificate the attendee has simply to follow a 4 stage process:

This reading is designed to get attendees to think about the subject and poses some of the questions they should be asking.

The lecture presentation will vary from subject to subject. Most presentations require attendees to participate during the course of the training. Some of the modules, especially those at Grade 1 level will require attendees to undertake some straightforward exercises to practice and reinforce the learning process.

The test will normally contain at least 10 or more multiple choice questions and 2 further questions which require some calculation to be undertaken and a written 2 paragraph answer.

If an attendee successfully passes the test he/she will be sent a handsome certificate evidencing that they have attended and passed one of the best technical asset finance courses in the UK.  Something any attendee will be proud to include in their C.V.

Certificate of Attendance

Not everyone has the time or inclination to opt for the testing process which is an integral part of the Validated Training Certificate. For those attendees who decline the option of a validated training certificate FIT will be delighted to issue a Certificate of Attendance for the relevant modules attended.

Costs – FIT In-house

For companies that book an in-house course their attendees will receive a Certificate of Attendance if validated training is not required.
For companies opting for validated training:

• The cost of testing only is currently £25 + VAT per attendee
• The cost of an additional revision day and testing is £50 + VAT per attende

Costs – FIT Open Courses

There is no additional cost for attendees on FIT Open Courses and modules who take the option of testing for a Validated Training Certificate.
There is no additional cost for the issue of a Certificate of Attendance
